Job Opportunities with Smile

A real estate professional with more than three decades of experience, Allan L. Pashcow currently serves as managing partner of Town Realty Co LLC, overseeing more than 1,400 rental apartment units in Long Island, New York. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Allan L. Pashcow supports charitable organizations including Smile Farm.

Committed to addressing the problem of unemployment, Smile Farm provides meaningful employment opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. Operating a network of revenue-generating Smile Farms, the organization works closely with partners to develop targeted marketing plans that maximize profitability as it grows produce for sale at urban gardens, farm stands, and greenhouses.

Smile Farm employees learn valuable agricultural skills related to caring for plants and flowers, as well as general retail skills such as customer service and teamwork. Each Smile Farms campus grows site-specific crops for harvest and consumption, distributing food to local non-profits that feed people in need. Smile Farm utilizes its revenue to reinvest in start-up and ongoing costs to help expand employment opportunities at each campus.

Garden of Dreams Giving Program

A certified property manager through the Institute of Real Estate Management in Chicago, Allan Pashcow manages more than 1400 Long Island rental apartment units in his role as managing partner with Town Realty Co LLC. Charitably minded, Allan L. Pashcow supports organizations including the Diabetes Research Institute and the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

In partnership with several Madison Square Garden entities, the Garden of Dreams Foundation provides educational and mentoring opportunities to enrich the lives of young people who face personal challenges. The foundation’s Giving Program raises funds to provide direct support for high school seniors through the Inspire Scholarship, available to students in the tri-state area. Since its establishment in 2015, the scholarship program has awarded more than $2.5 million to eligible students.

The foundation also takes part in projects to improve spaces in pediatric hospitals, community centers, and sporting facilities. For example, the Giving Program funded the renovation of a pediatric outpatient welcome area at Hackensack University Medical Center and a new audio and video recording studio at Children’s Village, a residential treatment facility.

Garden of Dreams Giving Program

For more than three decades, Allan L. Pashcow has been serving as a managing partner at Town Realty Co., a Long Island-based residential apartment management firm responsible for managing more than 1200 rental units in the area. Allan L. Pashcow and his family are involved in several charities and philanthropic organizations across the country, including the Diabetes Research Institute and the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

Established in 2006, the Garden of Dreams Foundation is a nonprofit charity that partners with Madison Square Garden (MSG) Entertainment, MSG Networks, and MSG Sports to bring life-changing opportunities to children, teens, and young adults in need. The Garden of Dreams Foundation fulfills its mission by offering access to mentoring programs, educational and skills development opportunities, and meaningful experiences that help shape young people’s futures.

The signature Giving Program, for example, is a way for the Garden of Dreams Foundation to support long-lasting community projects in partner organizations along with providing scholarships. For instance, with the Giving Program, the Garden of Dreams Foundation has completed a renovation project at Hackensack University Medical Center in the pediatric outpatient welcome area. Another successful project was in the Children's Village organization, where the Garden of Dreams Foundation built a state of the art video and audio recording studio.
